Hello, my name is Patrick Murphy, and I am a sophomore at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business working toward my MBA in accounting. I am interested in an internship within your company to push my future career further. I have been in the accounting society since coming to Pace in the fall of I developed organizational skills while working at Westtown Pizza as a stock manager, and learned that I enjoy using Excel to organize large lists. Could you tell me more about opportunities available at your company?

Met wit: EY, KPMG, Citrin Cooperman, Northwestern Mutual
All except Northwestern told me to wait until Junior year
I had started interviewing for Northwestern within a week
I plan on going to all future career fairs

I will see what events they are holding next semester, and make plans from there

7. Internship Plans
I am interviewing with Northwestern Mutual, so if all goes well I will intern for them in the Fall
I would like to intern for EY my Senior year

I interviewed Michael Ulinski, a former auditor at PwC, before it was PwC
I learned that the accounting industry has made many changes over the years, especially regarding the technology that makes the workload seem much lighter

10. Final Statement
Starting now, I would like to be accepted as an intern for Northwestern
Once I am eligible, I will apply for an internship at EY, as they are my dream company
I will work hard toward getting a high GPA
