2. What is a blog? Blog also known as weblog is a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. It is a place where you can express your thoughts and ideas to the world. It is your own website, that you update on a regular basis.

3. blog is a website that consist of posts known as entries appearing in reverse chronological order with most recent entry appearing first. Blog includes features such as comment and links to increase user activity. Blog can be about anything you are passionate about.

Blogging has become an important part in today’s world with popular bloggers impacting world of politics, business, fashion and society with their words.

Corporate/business blogs: these blog are used to promote business. These blogs are used for business purposes. They are formal blogs for example coke has a blog of its own these blogs give a review of their product to sell. Beauty blogger are sent products by beauty companies to check their products and write about their product on their blog to promote business

These are public forums where the blogger will individually answers the question being asked. For example there are Islamic question blogs where if you have any quires regarding your religion you can ask the blogger and he will answer accordingly.

I'm going to make a blog on WordPress because I find it more simple and easy to use.

It is how your homepage will look to your audience and the reader who view your blog. You can select any of these out of the four option displayed. For example if you want it to appear as grid or you want it to look like a online store layout or a welcome page. I will go for a welcome page so I will choose the top right layout for my blog.

These are the themes for your blog. You can choose any of these themes you like for your blog, all of these are free. This is the adjustment of your blog example how your pictures and post will appear to the viewers. I like affinity style of view for my blog so I will go for affinity theme.

You will enter in the box if is available it will come write beneath the writing box and if its not available or is taken by another user already then you will get alternate suggestion list of names for your blog. One option is free while other list of names are available if you pay for them. I chose the name high fashion journal for my blog and fortunately it was available for use so click on the button select for it. The name for domain will appear as for e.g. highfashionjournal.wordpress.com

These are plans for your blog. Personal, premium and business plan are not free and to have them you to pay for them. First plan is free and you can use without paying for it. Some additional features are only available to the paid plans and are not found in the free plan.
Since we have better thing to buy so will go for free plan and click select free option to proceed.

This is where you will create your account. You will type your address which you is in your use, the name you have selected for your blog and the password you like and is strong and easy to remember for your blog. Once you are done clock on the create my account button and your blog is created

Congratulation your blog has been created. Now you are good to go, for that you will click on the continue button to move on to your blog.
But remember before you proceed, go to your mailbox and verify your blog first because if you don’t you wont be able to change any of your blog settings and trust me I have been there it’s a torture finding out what the problem is actually.

These are the setting of your blog. Anything you wish to change you will have to change from this tab. First thing that I will change of my blog is the background image you can see on my blog that is known as the header image. Go to themes , customize to change the header image

I have written a short introductory line for my blog , journaling from Pakistan. This line you can go to static font and can write from there whatever you wish to write.

25. Now if you wish to start writing posts then for that you will go to blog post option in the setting tab and click on add button.

Make sure your post is easy to understand which means the language you use is easy to understand and is simple and interesting for the readers. The post should be short and should fit on the screen because readers find it boring to scroll through the next page to read it further.

27. To make your post look more interesting to the viewers you can add picture along with your post.
For that you need to go the small graphic option you see on the left side. Click on that button to add graphics.

28. Once you click on it, you will be directed to your gallery
Once you click on it, you will be directed to your gallery. Choose the image you wish to post and here is how your post will look when you add images to it. You can choose where you post the picture for example in the middle of the paragraph or picture then the post. Its all up to you.

29. Once you have decided where your image will be in the post, click on the publish button on the left side and it will visible to your audience.

30. After you are done writing with your posts , you can always change the about me introductory information on your blog. To change that, on the top left side of your page is the option button high street fashion journal you click on the name of your blog.

This is your blog contact page. With this contact information, if any of your reader want to interact with you they can contact you with the given information. You can ask or write anything you want to the blogger in the comment option. All you have do is write your name , your address and your website if you have any.

37. This is your stats page. To know the performance of your blog or blog post you will have to visit this page. How many likes/comment you got on the post, how many visitor visited your page for the month, week and year all this information will be displayed on this page.
