2 Facts: California has become the second-fastest growing solar market in the world. Solar panels are enough to satisfy 30 % of the peak load of thousands of homes in California. Germany is the top leading country installing photovoltaic. As a matter of fact, currently solar energy is only fulfilling 0.1 % of entire United States electricity demand. The price solar panels are decreasing gradually. Around 101 MW of power is being produced through 9509 solar grids in United States. People working at Google also like to install solar panels at their homes. Solar panels are reducing the carbon emission source:

3 Solar energy as technology
Solar without panels Energy efficient solar cells Solar roofing material Nano-charging solar cells Powerful and flexible solar cells source:

4 Cost and efficiency Efficiency
The polycrystalline silicon cells in the solar panels average is 12.8 percent conversion efficiency. Because solar panels produce dc current. Google claims to use a very efficient set of inverters that changes the current into usable ac with an average of 96 % conversion. Cost The technical and experts are claiming the cost between $3 (min) to $10 (max) per Watt of power installed depending upon the location and intensity of sunlight in US. The electricity prices rises by double and sometimes quadruple but the prices of solar panel will remain constant as far as the consumption remains constant. source:

5 Solar energy as renewable energy
Sun + water = Fuel Sunlight to hydrogen Solar power for Fossil fuels source:

6 Point to ponder Whether this solar Technology should expand from few states to entire World or not ??
