Herzing University believes in the human potential and personal aspirations of each student. Based on feedback from a cross-section of our community partners (employers, clinical sites, workforce centers), Herzing has developed a framework of behaviors and attributes that support a successful and meaningful career. 3 The P.R.I.C.E. of Success P—Professionalism R—Respect I—Integrity C—Caring E—Engagement “The P.R.I.C.E. of Success” represents Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Caring, and Engagement. Again, these five components were recognized by employers as most beneficial within the workplace. By familiarizing yourself with each component, you will have a better understanding of what it will take to succeed within your professional career.

At Herzing University At Work Show appreciation for students, faculty members, and staff members. Demonstrate a genuine interest in each person I interact with. Approach every interaction with a positive attitude. Show appreciation for each colleague and leader within my workplace. Respect should be shown to each person we interact with – whether in a formal or informal environment. Respect is needed to build a lasting connection with someone, such as a classmate, mentor, or leader. To demonstrate respect: Show respect to students, faculty members, and staff members.
