2 What is simple present tense?
In general, the simple present expresses events or situations that exist always, usually, habitually; they exist now, have existed in the past, and probably will exist in the future.

3 Usage The simple present tense is used: Verbal Sentence
To express a habitual action, and used adverb of frequency. Example: I drink milk every morning. To denote unchanging truth about the universe or nature. Example: The sun sets in the west.

4 Subject + Verb 1 (infinitive) Subject + Verb 1 (infinitive) + s/es
Pattern (+) Affirmative Sentence Subject: I, You, We, They. Subject: He, She, It. Examples: 1) We go to school everyday. 2) She teaches on Monday. 3) I can speak English. Subject + Verb 1 (infinitive) Subject + Verb 1 (infinitive) + s/es

5 Subject + does + not + Verb 1
(-) Negative Sentence Subject: I, You, We, They. Subject: He, She, It. Examples: 1) We do not go to school everyday. 2) She does not teach on Monday. Subject + do + not + Verb 1 Subject + does + not + Verb 1

6 (?) Interrogative Sentence Subject: I, You, We, They.
Subject: He, She, It. Examples: 1) Do we go to the school everyday? 2) Does she teach on Monday? Do + subject + Verb 1 ? Does + subject + Verb 1 ?

7 QW + does + subject + Verb 1 ?
(?) Interrogative Sentence with Question Word Subject: I, You, We, They. Subject: He, She, It. *QW (Question Words): what, where, why, who, when, and how. Examples: 1) Where do you live? 2) What does she do in the class? QW + do + subject + Verb 1 ? QW + does + subject + Verb 1 ?

8 Usage Nominal Sentence 1) To explain the direct situation.
example: I am a student. 2) To explain the truth or general reality. example: The Earth is circle.

9 Subject + to be + Non Verb (Noun, Adjective, Adverb)
(+) Affirmative Sentence Subject: I, We, You, They, He, She, It. Examples: (1) It is a car. (noun) (2) She is beautiful. (adjective) (3) They are in the office. (adverb) (4) She can be a champion. Subject + to be + Non Verb (Noun, Adjective, Adverb)

(-) Negative Sentence Subject: I, We, You, They, He, She, It. Examples: (1) She is not beautiful. (2) I am not a lawyer. Subject + to be + not + Non Verb (Noun, Adjective, Adverb)
