2 What is logic? ~ Logic is the science of reasoning, or the process of drawing conclusions about evidence. Like Math: = 3 ~ A logical argument is a STRONG ONE! ~ An illogical argument, or a LOGICAL FALLACY, is a WEAK ONE!

3 Some you need to have an idea about:
Logical fallacies LOGICAL FALLACIES ARE ERRORS IN REASONING OR MISTAKEN BELIEFS. THEY ARE THE “NO-NOS” OF LOGIC. Some you need to have an idea about: Hasty Generalization False Premise Circumstantial Evidence Mistaken Causality Playing with Numbers False Analogy Ignoring the Question Begging the Question Ad Hominem Strawman Gamblers Fallacy Red Herring Non Sequiter Overgeneralization

4 You have a responsibility to present the logical truth as a speaker.
Things to remember Logical Fallacies are used all the time in commercials and in politics to fool you- ASK QUESTIONS! You have a responsibility to present the logical truth as a speaker. You should be the logical voice of reason. You should never present false evidence and never use emotion without reason. “PREFER TO BE RATHER THAN TO SEEM GOOD.”
