Math- We wrapped up Fractions this week. We are done with the first grade math curriculum. The remainder of the year will be first grade math fluency (review).
Spelling- 4 new sight words this week. Draw and write journals, sight word sentences, If I know, then I know activity, sight word games
Science/Social Studies- Life Cycle of a Chick, Fill your Bucket
School News
Reading- We continued our unit on deepening our comprehension of our characters in order to dramatize them in book clubs. We configured our book clubs this week and worked on discussion starters and sharing big important ideas.
Writing-. We continued our fiction series unit. This week we focused on the endings of our stories and also had a revision party to fix up spelling and grammar.
