2 What nationalism actually is.
Nationalism is a belief or political ideology that involves an individual identifying with, or becoming attached to one’s nation. Nationalism is like patriotism is the way that one identifies themselves with.

3 What identity is based around.
The individuality of another is more important then a countries identity.

4 What the foundation of nationalism and identity is.
The foundation of nationalism and identity is how people believe their identity through nationalism is percieved.

5 Answer 1 No, I think what you do and who you are should be what your identity is. Just because you are part of a nation does not mean that you will be the same as the other people in that nation. When a nation does something that effects the world people assume that everyone in that nation had something to do with it, that could be true but it usually is not. An example of people assuming that the whole country in the same is when people ask Canadians if they live in igloos because obviously we don’t but it is a stereotype. People also think that Canadians love Tim Horton's or that we like the cold but not everyone does. A national identity will always be very different from an individuals identity.

6 Answer 2 I think a nation should be founded on identity because it gives people a sense of belonging it also give a nation something to be proud of because you live there. A nations identity is something that people can be proud to be associated with. A sense of belonging strengthens a nation and gives it a stronger sense of power. A nation founded on identity give the people of a nation something to relate to.
