Be Personable Have One Main Point at a time. Bobby wan

2 Keep Your Audience In Mind
What do they know? What do you need to tell them? What do they expect? What will be interesting to them? What can you teach them? What will keep them focused? If you lose the attention of your audience, everything will be lost

3 Practice A well-prepared and enthusiastic talk will help you convince your audience and maintain their attention. There are some key points that define a good talk. Know your slides inside out. Speak freely. Speak with confidence – loud and clear. Don’t speak too fast. Maintain eye contact with the audience. When it comes to presenting, does practice make perfect? In a word, no. Practice makes permanent. Your goal should be to practice perfectly, not just practice. The more you do something, the more comfortable it feels – whether right or wrong. So, we need to do it right when we practice our presentations. Knowing a subject doesn’t guarantee success. The ability to articulate the message and connect with audience members is what counts – and perfect practice can make this happen. … Practice Will Work for You Too Winging a presentation rarely gets the desired results. Here is the approach that works for me – dare I say – 100% of the time. My assumption is that you have done the preparation: Know your PAL™ (Purpose, Audience & Logistics). Collect current, accurate and relevant information. Add examples, stories, emotional appeals, and some visuals when critical, to support the data. Organize materials so there is a logical flow of content, with smooth transitions connecting the ideas – creating a story. Have a strong opening and close already written Create a user-friendly final draft, making it easy to reference without reading it. Frequently, presenters do all of the above, and then think through the presentation in their minds – where we are all eloquent. Visualizing is great, but it doesn’t replace the actual out-loud practice. Too frequently, practice is left until close to the date of a presentation – when it’s too late. The goal of practice sessions is to get presenters totally comfortable with the content, the slides, and the timing – so, when they actually present, they are able to concentrate on connecting with the audience.

4 Get visual Being visual is such a clear differentiator for lively speakers with the use of good graphics or photos. Some even dispense with slides and use just a few props or animate their talk with their hands. The approach of text based slides being read is never done by funny presenters, it’s a real no-no. You’re wanting people to listen to you, not send them to sleep with some reading!

5 Tell Stories and Jokes Whether it’s comedians or motivational speakers they keep us hooked with their engaging stories and jokes. The more personal the stories the better as research from Princeton University shows that our brains light up when we hear stories. We also find it easier to remember stories rather than random facts.

6 Less Slides is More

7 Never Lost Hope, Instead Work Hard And Remain Patient
“Highly successful” does not always imply wealth — very often it simply means being the best at something, and in this case it is martial arts. Bruce Lee is the undisputed champion when it comes to fighting techniques, and no matter how you look at it, this is sheer success. He showed the world the potential of the human body. One of his most memorable quotes was “Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.” The ability to efficiently cope during hard times is essential for highly successful people. It shows them what options are available, it helps when constructing contingency plans and exit strategies. Such a mindset will result in greater confidence and a sense of security. Without it, you’ll be constantly overwhelmed with the fear of losing your assets, which always results in health issues.
