1 NAMASKAR Positive attitude for excellence Kedar Rayamajhi, 2017

2 Victor Frankl once wrote,
You could be faced with a thousand problems, many or most over which you have absolutely no control. HOWEVER, there is always one thing you are in complete and absolute control of and that is your own attitude. "Everything can be taken from a person but one thing: the last of human freedoms - to choose one's attitudes in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way." "Frankl was right... Attitude is a choice”

3 FEW ATTITUDE If is such an important word, why do SO ? people
understand it?

4 Pause and Ponder This is attitude… Your attitude is your window to the world better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world. — George Bernard Shaw

5 Pause and Ponder The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible. Unknown “Ninety percent of the input in your minds today is negative.” Zig Ziglar

6 Pause and Ponder “Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain— And most fools do.” —DALE CARNEGIE “The only disability in life is a bad attitude.” —SCOTT HAMILTON

7 An attitude is a person’s point of view towards something.

9 The Power of a Positive Attitude
• High confidence. • Planning ahead. • Encouraging others. • Showing appreciation. • Thoroughness. • Conscientiousness • Alertness.

10 Always find faults in the organisation
Negative attitude Always find faults in the organisation Criticizing organisation in public places Taking job casually Hiding capacity to perform I do not gain anything by learning. Whatever I have learnt in past is sufficient for me to be effective executive.

11 Strengths Matter! Learning to Appreciate
Artists do not look at a landscape and ask what is wrong with the picture, their focus is to look for what is valuable. Appreciation draws our eye toward life and provides inspiration to the imagination, igniting our creative capacity. Strengths Matter!

12 Have we ever thought? Large proportion of potentials is unused at individual and organizations level. What would happen if we can see and unleash some of these potentials?

13 A new way of thinking and doing is the most….
“No problem can be solved from the same level of thinking that created it. We must learn to see the world anew.” -Albert Einstein

14 How can we develop a new level of thinking?

15 Learning is the key…

16 “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.” ~ Alvin Toffler

17 “Yesterday’s graduate stops learning today and becomes uneducated tomorrow”
-Unknown

18 Unlearning is also equally important

19 Attitude learning to change
I am too old to learn. Learning is restricted to schools & colleges only. Because we get degree/diploma certificate. Nobody is a potential source of learning for me. If I learn, I will be over burdened with work.

20 FACTORS THAT DETERMINE OUR ATTITUDE
1. ENVIRONMENT 2. EXPERIENCE 3. EDUCATION In a positive environment, a marginal performer’s output goes up. And in a negative environment, a good performer’s output goes down.

21 ! IT IS THE ATTITUDE THAT MAKES US GO UP.

22 “The foundation of success regardless of your chosen field, is ATTITUDE”
-Shiv Khera In his book YOU CAN WIN

23 Paradigm Shift When paradigms shift: … the rules change
… we all go back to zero “Those who say it cannot be done, should get out of the way of those who are doing”.

24 Is positive thinking ignoring reality?
Positive thinking is not ignoring reality. Positive thinkers look for the best in a situation. They do not ignore the negative event, just that they accept it and look for ways to make things more positive.

25 Putting on the Armor Change 3 Things!

26 Steps to develop positive attitude
Look at the bright side of life. Focus at positive. Find reasons to smile more often. Contemplate upon the futility of negative thinking and worries. Associate yourself with happy and positive people. Read inspiring stories. Read inspiring quotes. Develop an attitude of gratitude

27 You are the designer of your destiny. You are the author
You are the designer of your destiny. You are the author. You write the story. The pen is in your hand and the outcome is in your hand. Lisa Nichols

28 NLP Principles We do not experience the world as it is – we experience a model of the world. The map is not the territory. Must to have respect for other people's model of the world. I control my mind and thus my results. There is no failure, only feedback.

30 Continued IF AN EGG IS BROKEN BY AN OUTSIDE FORCE..A LIFE ENDS.
IF AN EGG BREAKS FROM WITHIN LIFE BEGINS. GREAT THINGS ALWAYS BEGIN FROM WITHIN.
