3 Release 15.0 – QORA ASR Gateway
Qwest will implement the ASOG Version 40 Industry Standard changes to the ASR forms and fields decided upon at an industry level with participating members of the OBF Committees. Effective date for this release as dictated by the industry is March 22, For detailed information about the industry changes on the ASR – refer to the ATIS website: Qwest will implement upfront validations in the QORA ASR Gateway that impact all ASRs being transmitted to Qwest electronically. This includes the web-based QORA (Qwest Online Request Application) GUI application, or through direct connections, such as NDM or UOM interfaces.

4 Customer Impacts/Value
How does implementation of Qwest up front editing add value for you, our customer? The QORA GUI application is a superior alternative to paper ASR forms, offering on-line help as well as validations for accuracy. Upfront edits streamline processing time for your request, by ensuring the data supplied by you is as accurate as possible. Prior to the ASR being accepted into Qwest’s systems, you are notified of the errors on the ASR allowing corrections to be made, thereby reducing the need for costly re-issues of the ASR (supplements). An accurate ASR helps ensure the accurate provisioning of your request the first time. Accurate entries also create accurate billing, reducing the possibility for errors on your monthly bill. Reduced cycle time due to less re-work and supplements being required.

5 General Changes Pre-Order Validation Enhancement – QORA Gateway
There are no new Pre-Order Validation enhancements for this release. Report Enhancement – QORA GUI There are no new report enhancements for this release.

6 QORA GUI and ASR Gateway Field Level Validations
TSC and ECCKT Validation: The system will validate that the TSC is valid for the ECCKT on the ASR form. If the TSC is invalid, the ASR will be rejected. ECCKT Validation: The system will allow circuits that were built with an 8-character CLLI for both the A and Z locations, and perform a busy check on all product specific forms for original submission of the ASR and SUPs 3, 4. If the ECCKT is invalid, the ASR will be rejected. FACTL Validation: The system will validate that the first 8 characters of the FACTL CLLI code on the Trunking form match the first 8 characters of the ACTL CLLI on the ASR form. If they do not match, the ASR will be rejected TCIC Validation: The existing TCIC validation will now run on SUPs 3 and 4.

7 QORA GUI and ASR Gateway Field Level Validations
PSL/CSL/PSLI Validation: The system will validate that the PSLI field on the ASR form is populated correctly based on the CSL and PSL LATAs. If the CSL and the PSL are in the same LATA then the PSLI must = F. If the CSL and PSL are in different LATAs then the PSLI must = E. If the PSLI is incorrect the ASR will be rejected. PSL Validation: The system will validate the PSL field is populated with the correct CLLI base on LERG6. If the PSL is incorrect, the ASR will be rejected. NPA/NXX Validation: The system will validate that the NPA/NXX on the TQ form are valid for the PSL CLLI. If the NPA/NXX is incorrect, the ASR will be rejected. Forbearance Validation: The system will no longer validate the PNUM field on the ASR form when ACT = D for all Forbearance impacted products for special pricing. Products include (Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), Frame Relay (only speeds of 200 Kbps or higher), GeoMax®, HDTV-Net service, Qwest Metro Optical Ethernet (QMOE®), Synchronous Service Transport (SST), Self Healing Network Services (SHNS), Ethernet Ports over SONET (EPoS) associated with SST and SHNS.
