1 Three Tenses of Verbs

2 VERB Action words or doing words are called verbs.
Eg : Jack reads a book. Verb : reads

3 Changing Verbs From Present to Past and Future

4 Past Tense Verbs Most past tense verbs end in “ed”.
Past tense verbs tell action that has already happened. Some words change spelling to show past tense. Examples: grow = grew like = liked Run = ran

5 Present Tense Verbs Actions that happen now or today
Some present tense verbs have “ing”, “s”, or “es” on the end of them. Examples: playing Flies Floats

6 Future tense verbs Many verbs have the helping verb “will” in front of them to show they will be happening. Examples: will play will eat will like
