Also add these hours on CampusLink for volunteer points. Grey Snow Eagle House The iowa nation houses endangered avian species. To volunteer - Turning Point Ranch Turning point ranch is a program that helps challenged individuals build better future through therapeutic horseback riding. They need volunteers on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. As a volunteer you can become a “sidewalker” to ensure the rider is safely on the horse and engaged in the activities or as a “horse leader” focused on the horse and the instructor to keep the session safe and moving. They also need volunteers on the “Horse Team” that helps feed and care for therapy horses. Students volunteers enrolled at Oklahoma State can get course credit through the University Volunteer Services Center. Call or Loop Abroad A chance to visit foreign countries and get new Veterinary experience! Check out our internships section of our website to see more! Operation Catnip Operation Catnip Stillwater is an OSU Foundations Organization serving the community of Stillwater, OK. Their purpose is to spay and neuter feral/community cats that roam our city. Every year thousands of cats are killed at shelters due to overcrowding or because they are not adoptable (not socialized to humans). Operation Catnip Stillwater plans to spay/neuter cats per clinic. The clinics are held one Sunday each month of the school year. How can you help? You can help trap cats with our trapping team, work at the trap depot, or work the clinics! The Trap Depot is located behind Stillwater's Animal Welfare and the clinics are held at the veterinary teaching hospital.
