Live Chat Live chat is great for children who need one-on-one help. You choose a grade and a topic and it sets you up with a “whiteboard” and a tutor. The student and tutor can chat and both can draw and write on the whiteboard to make examples easier.

Homework Help Online Home Page
To access live chat, click on the “Live Tutoring” link.

Live Chat Choose the grade level and subject the student needs help with.

Live Chat The chat is on the right, and the whiteboard in black was the student, in color was the tutor. The student can make attempts and the tutor can guide and correct the student.

Live Chat Use this button to clear the whiteboard and try another example.

Live Chat Don’t forget to say “thank you”!

Language Lab The Language Lab helps with foreign language classes, but is currently only offered for Spanish.

Flashbulb Flashbulb is a collection of flash cards made by other students, with a feature to make your own flash cards. NOTE: Flash cards created by others sometimes contain incorrect answers. Use this feature with caution!

Leap Learning (not our LEAP)
Leap Learning has several courses for basic skills that help prepare for college or need a refresher.

Leap Learning (not our LEAP)
Leap learning uses real life math that can be useful when you get the question “When am I really going to use this?”

Writing Lab If a student has written a paper and would like personal feedback, they can use the Writing Lab feature to submit their paper. NOTE: It may take a while to receive a response, so this is best for early drafts when the student still has about a week to work on and revise the paper before it’s due.

Explore! These are only a few of the features that could be useful for students, but this database has a lot of content, so please explore on your own! When you find things that are particularly useful, or if you have any questions or issues with the site, please let us know!
