*Drawing and Desktop Publishing Learning how to create posters using software. *Developing skills of playing hockey. *News Paper Reports– exploring features of news paper reports, writing and organising our own. *Performance poetry – learning skills to write and perform. Please encourage your child to read each day *Developing confidence and ability in swimming. PE English *Stories about imaginary worlds Computing Geography *Light and Dark Investigating light, reflection and sun safety. Year 3 Scots and Anglo-Saxons *Be able to explain some key features of life in Anglo-Saxon Britain. Science *Identifying opaque, translucent and transparent. Music History Maths *Learning songs and dances for the Easter production. *Performing on stage. PSHE *Looking at who the Anglo-Saxons and Scots were and when and why they invaded Britain. *Analyse historical evidence and artefacts * Understand how life in Britain has been shaped by the Anglo-Saxons. *Learning how to add and subtract numbers using the column technique, RE *Recognising angles as a property of a shape and identifying whether they are greater or less than a right angle. *Animals and Us How we look after animals in and around our home.
