7. Privileges Come with Responsibility
Allow your sons to make own choices with boundaries (choices have consequences)
Responsibility is taught by parents
Parents make far too many decisions for children on dress, money, food, etc.
Sons should become respectively assertive
Teach a healthy understanding of authority

8. Influencing your Son after High School
Build strong relationships with your son
Be engaged and listen to his plans / fears about relationships and careers
It is possible for your son to be your friend and to respect you
Schedule regular one-on-one sessions
Remain consistent and show that you trust him
Be transparent about your life
Maintain a healthy marriage!
