2. Kinich Ahua
Kinich Ahua , the sun god looked the way he looked in the pictures and only had one tooth. Every morning he would bring down the sun and every evening he took it back up.
Kinich Ahau was the sun, and was believed to turn into a jaguar as he went through Xibalbá each night. He was known for being the teacher that reflected light.

3. The Maize God
The Maize god, Hun Hunahpu was one of the most important because of his connection with a vital crop. His headdress is a stylised ear of corn and his hair is the silk of the corn. He was the most popular and famous god they believe in because he was named after Maize. The Maize was the main food that they ate. To celebrate the gods they have ceremonies which were accompanied by music and dancing, they could include processions, feasting, ritual ball games as well as sacrifices and prayers.

4. Kukulcan Kukulcan is the god of creation. Kukulcan was a
powerful snake god, his name Means “feathered
serpent.” He was a primary Of the Itza people in
the latter part of the Maya Civilization. He was
often drawn to look like a Dragon. He is involved
with crafts and calendars .kukulcan was a male.
He created 3 versions of mankind but the first
two failed. He is the most famous god. Some
People say that he came from the sea to the gods to help
his people.

5. Kinich Ahau
Kinich Ahau is the god of sun every night he brings the sun down for the Mayans. He is very important to the city of Itzamal every night when the sun goes down the Mayans would go down they would go out and worship him.

Kinich Ahau is the 16th-century Yucatec name of the Maya sun god. Their believes were that Kinich Ahau visited the city everyday at noon when the sun was directly above them, then he would come down to earth in parrot form and the offers they gave him were accepted.

Ah puch was the mayan God of death. He is buried beneath the ground. When night falls he romes the land.

8. IX Chel
Ix Chel was in charge of making rain water the crops. When she was successful she was called “Lady Rainbow”. Ix Chel is the goddess of the moon. She is often known as a serpent crone with a skirt and crossbones. She carries an upside-down vessel in her hands which reminds us of the gift of water, our most crucial life element. She has a serpent on her head.
As the Goddess of Medicine the snake also stands for intuitive forces. Chel stands for rainbow or light.
She is the goddess of fertility, motherhood , the moon and menstrual cycle. She is mother of all. In her hand she has a rabbit as a sign of fertility when she is sitting on a crescent moon. As the goddess of fertility and childbirth she is responsible for the formation of the baby and determines the sex of the child.

9. Ix chel By Daisy and Lucy
As the Maya moon goddess, sometimes called "Lady Rainbow", she is often pictured as a serpent crone wearing a skirt and crossbones. She carries an upside-down vessel in her hands which represents the nourishing gift of water, our most essential life giving element. She wears a serpent on her head . The snake, has always been associated with medicine or healing powers. As the Goddess of Medicine the snake also symbolizes intuitive forces.

10. Chac
Chac is the rain god of the Maya. He has a lightning axe. He uses it to hit the clouds and make thunder and rain. CHAC is a reptilian critter with fangs and a rather droopy snout. His hair is a permanently knotted tangle of confusion, which we find quite endearing.

Chac is the god of rain , lightning , agriculture and fertility. He had a lightning axe which he used to produce clouds and rainstorms. Chac sends rain into the large world by weeping from large , kind , caring eyes. He is a very good man because he even teaches people the deepest , darkest secrets of how to farm and he doesn’t demand any money for it. Chac’s hair is permanently knotted. In classic Mayan this is how you spell Chac –Chaahk. Chac strikes the clouds and produces thunder and rain.

12. Ah Puch
Ah Puch is the god of death. He also likes the surface at night and skulk in really scary mode. A putrefying corpse with an owl’s head is his favourite outfit. He uses eyes to do the finishing touches to his headgear. One of his nicknames is The Flatulent One, which is not something we care to investigate further. There is only one way to escape his attention. Howl!, shriek!, moan! and
