1 PVES STEM Action Plan PVES STEM Team

2 Background In the spring of 2016, schools in Anderson School District One were charged with spending a significant amount of “penny sales tax” money to establish opportunities for STEM education in our classrooms. With the help of STEM teacher, Mrs. Ginger Clary, and instructional technologist, Mrs. Jessica Preisig, PVES has created a STEM lab. The administration at PVES has scheduled the STEM lab in the related arts rotation, providing a 45 minute period each week for students to visit the STEM lab. The plan is to continue to add tools and materials to the STEM lab weekly as we transition to more STEM opportunities and activities for all students.
