Design is the result of goal-oriented research. Designs must be continually checked, refined, and improved. Note: Design problems seldom arise in a clearly defined form. Design requirements sometimes compete with each other.

IOT POLY ENGINEERING I1-4 FOT REVIEW Classwork / Homework In complete sentences, explain how the four design principles can be used to evaluate a design and how the principles are applicable to the engineering design process. Study everything covered in this class so far, including paper setup – quiz likely. When the first bullet is read, mention a bunch of common technologies so that students can’t take an easy way out. For example, say, “iPod, t.v., cell phone, car, video games, computers, internet.” It frustrates them and will get them thinking outside their usual box.
