2. setting The setting takes place in Panem (North America).
There is the Capital and all thirteen districts lie in the arena within Panem.
The arena is important because Katniss becomes the mocking jay, fall in love with district thirteen.

3. characters
All of the characters are Katniss, Peeta , Haymitch , Prim, Rue, Effie Trinket, Mrs. Everdeen, & Gale.
These characters are important because they make the story more interesting.
Some of the characters are main characters to the story.
Katniss is the main part of the story, in fact she’s the one telling the story.

4. 3 reasons why I (dis)liked this book
Three reasons I liked this book are
1. When Katniss goes hunting in the forest.
2. When Katniss whistles a mocking jay song.
3. When Katniss makes a flower bed around rue
Three reasons I disliked the story is when
1. Rue died(very sad).
2. When the explosion nearly makes Katniss left ear deaf.
3. when peeta and Katniss have to starve in the cave because it is raining outside the cave.

5. would I share this to other kids?
Yes except for kids ages 6 and under because some parts of the story are scary.
Other parts are not for kids 6 and under.
A few other parts are sad.
But I would share this story to kids ages 7 and up.
