2 Overview Start up wizard - update Remote user code
Zone open too long notification – related to access Keypad E/E counter displayed Inverted Walk Test PIN of the day Service Req message after certain Interval Demo Mode User code entry without pressing ENTER Option to disable all faults on keypad Walk Test with reporting Walk Test with arming the system Walk Test per zone MMS functionality

3 Start up wizard - update
Start up Wizard update – Pircam / PSTN selection A new selection is introduced to support the Pircam. If PIRcam is selected the PSTN communication and analogue GSM communication will not be supported. If PSTN/ISDN/GSM is selected then the PIRcam will not be supported Overview new selection criteria - Variant Start-up Wizard Variant PSTN / ISDN / GSM PIRcam 1. Panel language 2. Defaults 3. Time & date 4. Variant 5. Install Installation 76%

4 Remote user code Users - Installer Set PIN code Remote PIN
Features Configuration: Users -> Installer Differentiate an installer connection locally or remotely Local connection is defined by Keypad or USB Remote connection is defined by Ethernet / GPRS Remote PIN is to be enabled (by Enable Login) to activate the feature Default Remote PIN code is 1278 When enabled the Remote PIN code can only be changed remotely New SIA codes: Remote start, success, fail: RB / RS / RU Local start, success, fail: LB/ LS / LU Users - Installer Set PIN code Remote PIN Enable login

5 Zone open too long notification – related to access
Features Configuration: Zone Options / Panel Timers The Zone held open too long is a functionality for users who want to be notified if the certain zone is open (in active state) for too long. For example to trigger a Keypad’s buzzer if the door is open for longer than 30 seconds Use Case Zone Others Zone Held Open Panel Zone Timers Held Open Time Filters Logical Function Zone / Held open too long Door Access with Badge, if door is open too long it can activate the output on the reader to beep until the door is closed.

6 Keypad E/E counter displayed
Features Configuration: Panel -> LCD display options -> View E/E counter The EE counter display is functionality for users who want to know how much time is left to enter a code to disarm the system during the Entry Time, and to know how much time is left to leave the area which is arming. Counter shall be displayed on a Keypad after choosing to arm the area(s). A r e a 1 E N T R Y 4 5 s 1 > A r e a S t i n g 4 5 s

7 Zone Inactive days / Inverted Walk Test
Features Configuration: Installers Menu -> 8> Sys.opts Menu -> 1> Timers menu -> 4> Zn timers menu -> 7> InactiveDays An inverted walk test is functionality for users who want to know if a zone was not triggered during certain time, e.g. user may want to set this time to 24 hours (1 day) for a door sensor. If for 24 hours nobody opens the door (or a sensor is damaged) a flag related to this zone will be set. Maximum is 127 days. In this way a damaged sensor or non-visited area could be detected Check Counter Value: Installers Menu -> 1>Service Menu -> 2>Test menu -> 8>Inactive Days Reset counter: Installers Menu -> 1>Service Menu -> 2>Test menu -> 8> Inactive Days 7 > I n a c t i v e D y s 1 2 1 > Z o n e 9 > R e s t T i m r

8 PIN of the day Features Configuration: Technical Zone -> Zone options -> Sensor type Panel shall support Pin of the day functionality in order to have a different installer code every day. This prevents take-overs from other installers

9 Service Req message after certain Interval
Features Configuration: Panel -> Engineer Options -> Inspection Installer can configure a message to pop up requesting Service/Maintenance required Inspection date 24/08/2014 Inspection Message Service Required

10 Demo Mode Active for 15 min Displays “Demo Mode” on every keypad
Features Configuration: Panel -> Sys.opts Menu  8.PA & Other  9.Demo mode When the system has been programmed it can be demonstrated to the customer using demo mode. In demo mode, movement detectors (programmed as alarm types) are ignored. This allows an area or the system to be set by the normal exit route while the site is occupied. When the panel is in demo mode the message “Demo Mode On” will be displayed on all keypads when no user is logged on. This message will only be cleared when the engineer switches off demo mode or if the engineer is logged off automatically at the end of the engineer working period. When the entry alarm sequence is demonstrated there will be no communicator activation. 9 > D e m o d Y s < Active for 15 min Displays “Demo Mode” on every keypad

11 User code entry without pressing ENTER
Features Configuration: Installer menu  8. Sys.opts Menu  7. Panel A&B opts  8. Easy unset User code entry without confirmation is a functionality for users that allows easier disarm of the system, by using PIN code only, without having to confirm the operation with any other key. The panel will confirm the code automatically. This would allow avoiding confusion for users. 8 > E a s y u n e t Y -> Use 1122 to disarm -> cannot be used with Door access F

12 Option to disable all faults on keypad
Features Configuration: Panel -> 8.Sys.opts Menu  3.LCD Dsply opts  4.Indicate fault An option shall be added to disable all fault indications on all keypads. These should however still be logged and reported. Selection: Always On Set Disable all Faults 4 > I n d i c a t e f u l A w y s

13 Walk test with reporting
Features The panel supports system walk test whereby all triggered sensors will be reported to the monitoring station, but no siren shall be activated. Start Walk test with Reporting To start walk test with reporting : 1>Service menu  2>test menu  5> Walk test menu  1>Start Then the installer can choose between with or without reporting. W i t h r e p o n g > Y s < W i t h r e p o n g > N < Walktest all zones (only keypad/internal sounder beep) Walktest all zones with reporting including the keypad/internal sounder beep

14 Walk test with arming the system
Features The panel supports system walk test whereby the system is armed via the user interface and alarms created by triggering all sensors. All sensor alarms will be reported to the monitoring station, but no siren shall be activated. Activate Walk test with arming the system To activate Walk Test with arming the system : 1>Service menu  2>test menu  5> Walk test menu  4>Walktest Mode W a l k t e s M o d Y Walk test scenario is based on a standard use case -> arming the system -> tripping zones -> disarming. Test ends when the Installer turns off the WT Mode in the menu, or the timer expires. This is to prevent the unwanted remaining in the WT Mode.

15 Walk test per zone Features Activate Walk Test per zone
The Walk test per zone is a functionality for the installers who want to verify a single zone instead of having to run a walk test for all zones. Activate Walk Test per zone To start Walk Test per zon : 1>Service menu  2>test menu  5> Walk test menu 3>SingleZone WT The installer can choose between with or without reporting. W i t h r e p o n g > Y s < 1 > P a n e l 2 I p u t x I n p u t m b e r > 1 < W a l k t e s i n p r o g 1 > Z o n e N d A c t i v W a l k t e s O K P r E N T R Functionality similar to the general walk test option.

16 MMS Features Configuration MMS
Possibility to send pictures taken by a PirCam to cell phones using MMS. Configuration MMS Configuration of the MMS functionality: Central Station settings: MMS Settings (Path Options GSM) : (Settings MMS Center Belgium)
