3 staff attended the Southern California Advocacy Network’s Emergency Management Summit Safety Steering Committee – focused on wheelchair securement Cyber Security Workshop Emergency Management training for staff Southern Region Taxi Maintenance Audit

Presentation at the State Council on Developmental Disabilities, Los Angeles Office Southern California Advocacy Network’s Emergency Management Summit Cyber Security Workshop Emergency Management training Southern Region Taxi Maintenance Audit Safety Focus: Wheelchair Securement Notable staff community outreach efforts from staff included a presentation at the State Council on Developmental Disabilities, Los Angeles Office and participation in the Southern California Advocacy Network’s Emergency Management Summit. Notable trainings included the Cyber Security Training at Access and the Essential Emergency Operations Center Action Planning training at the city of Long Beach EOC. Staff also completed the Taxi Maintenance Audit at our largest contractor in the Southern Region, Global Paratransit. The audit included a 100% check of 644 taxis vehicle files. Lastly, Wheelchair Securement was the safety focus of the month and was discussed at our monthly Safety Steering Committee Meeting that is attended by all the contractors.
