3 Who we are MISSION The mission of the Fly Fishers International is to support, enhance and preserve fly fishing opportunities. Fundamental to this mission is environmental stewardship and education. Flyfishersinternational.org

4 Who we are STRATEGIC VISION
At its core, the Fly Fishers International is the only outdoor sports non-­­profit organization exclusively representing fly fishing for all fish in all waters. Our core connection vehicle is education. We strive to be the best fly fishing educators in four areas: casting, tying, fly fishing skills and conservation. Flyfishersinternational.org

5 Who we are HISTORY Original concept was to create a national federation of fly fishing clubs. There were 12 founding clubs. First Conclave held June 1965 in Eugene, Oregon hosted by McKenzie Flyfishers. Flyfishersinternational.org

6 Who we are HISTORY Second Conclave in September 1966, FFF had grown to 29 clubs. Regional Councils were created to govern a largely volunteer organization Membership office located in officer’s home Flyfishersinternational.org
