4 C.O.R.E Classes Every student will have a C.O.R.E class throughout the day. Objective: During C.O.R.E, students will have the opportunity to learn about a certain theme that will better prepare them for the future. The theme has been assigned per grade level. Rigor: C.O.R.E. classes will still have the emphasis on building strategies and skills that are needed for reading and writing. 4

Responsibility Students are accountable for their actions and results – ex: homework completion; studying; organization Attendance Students are expected to be present and on time. If they are absent, it is their responsibility to make up missing work 13
