As the instructional leader of your school goals must be set and all stakeholders must be challenged to reach the goal. Teachers need to know that you would not tell them to do something that you wouldn’t do. The best way to show teachers this is by getting back in the classroom and modeling what you expect. You’re the instructional leader for a reason

Once the goal is established some sort of data tool should be implemented.
This tool will be used to spark factual conversations about where students are and where they need to be.
Administration and instructors need to have data driven conversations with students daily.(This information will be based on classroom assessments and quarterly benchmark results.)
