4 Experimental Probability
We use experimental probability to estimate probability and make predictions. First we do an experiment, then we work out the probability, we can then use this to work out what we expect to see in the future.

We say that events are mutually exclusive if they cannot happen at the same time. You cannot You cannot win and loose the same football match You cannot catch the bus and miss it

30 Sample space diagrams We use sample space diagrams to make our life easier when we are dealing with the probability of two things happening. For example tossing two coins or rolling two dice or spinning two spinners A sample space diagram makes sure we don’t forget any outcomes and makes it easy for us to work out probabilities
