Vivid Contrasts Jesus Had No Sins, But He Took My Sins
Cf. Isaiah 53:6b, 10a He “committed no sin,” but He “suffered for us” (2:21-22) Jesus is my atoning sacrifice, dying in my behalf, taking my sins Jesus Bore My Sins, So I Could Be Separated from Sins Cf. Isaiah 53:8b, 11b, 12b Jesus is my vicarious sacrifice, dying in my stead, taking the punishment of my sins (cf. Matt. 20:28; 1 Tim. 2:6; Heb. 9:26-28)

Vivid Contrasts Jesus Died on a Tree for Me, So I Could Live My Life for Him Cf. Isaiah 53:10-12 Jesus was “murdered by hanging on a tree” (Acts 5:30; 10:39) and bore the “curse” associated with crucifixion (Gal. 3:13) He died so that I could live a life of service to Him (Gal. 2:20) Jesus Was Brutally Beaten, So I Could Be Spiritually Healed Cf. Isaiah 53:5 Jesus “suffered” (2:21, 23) to heal/save our sin-sick souls (Heb. 5:8-9; 13:12)

Vivid Contrasts Jesus Eagerly Takes Me Back, Even When I Have Strayed Away Cf. Isaiah 53:6a Jesus is our Good Shepherd to whom we may be converted and return – He feeds, guides, guards and directs us (John 10:1-18)

Being Healed By the Blood of Jesus
Believe Jesus is God’s Son – Mark 16:16 Repent of your sins and turn to God – Acts 2:38 Confess your faith in Jesus – Romans 10:9-10 Be immersed into Christ – Galatians 3:27 God will wash away all of your sins – Acts 22:16 God will add you to His church – Acts 2:47 God will register you in heaven – Hebrews 12:23 Walk faithfully with the Lord – 1 John 1:7
