4. What is Hunger?
Hunger is a term which has three meanings: (Oxford English Dictionary 1971)
The painful sensation caused by want of food; craving appetite.
The want or scarcity of food in a country.
A strong desire or craving.

5. Everyone knows the feeling of HUNGER as: But many know HUNGER as:
The urge to eat that signals the time for the next meal.
But many know HUNGER as:
a constant companion because that meal does not follow.

6. It’s a choice they freely make It’s a choice they’re forced to make

7. What are the causes of HUNGER?
1- Poverty is the principal cause of hunger:
Poor people's lack of resources; such as food and water.
Unequal income distribution in the world and within specific countries.
World Bank has estimated that there are 1,345 million poor people in developing countries who live on $1.25 a day and less.

8. 2- Harmful economic systems are the principal cause of poverty and hunger:
Where the rich become richer, and the poor become more poor !

Wars between countries and Civil wars Huge number of REFUGEES suffer from hunger.
