2 Muscles of face (muscles of facial expression) 1- Orbital Group
Muscles of the scalp Occiptofrontalis Group The occiptofrontalis, or scalp, group consists of the frontalis, and occipitalis. These muscles provide movement of the eyebrows, forehead, and scalp and are innervated by the temporal and posterior auricular branches of the facial nerve. Muscles of face (muscles of facial expression) Orbital Group The orbital group consists of the orbicularis oculi. This muscle provide movement of the eyelid and periorbital skin and are innervated by branches of the facial nerve Oral Group : includes obicularis oris, depressor anguli oris ,levator anguli oris, zygomaticus major, zygomaticus minor, levator labii superioris, levator labii superioris alaeque nasia, risorius, depressor labii inferioris, mentalis, and buccinator. They move the lips innervated by facial nerve

3 Nasal Group nasal group consists of the depressor septi, procerus, compressor naris and dilator naris of the nasalis. These muscles provide movement of the nose and perinasal skin and are innervated by branches of the facial nerve Auricular Group The auricular group consists of the anterior, superior, and posterior auricular muscles. These muscles provide movement of the auricle and are innervated by the temporal and posterior auricular branches of the facial nerve.

4 Muscles of the neck The neck group consists of the platysma. It provides movement of the skin of the neck and is innervated by the cervical branch of the facial nerve (Norton). Muscles of Mastication The muscles of mastication are innervated by the mandibular division of the trigeminal nerve (V). These muscles provide movement of the mandible to enable mastication. The muscles of mastication consist of the temporalis, masseter, medial pterygoid, and lateral pterygoid

5 Muscle of face

6 Muscles of neck 1- Flexors of the neck Sternocleidomastoid muscle Scalene muscles: (Anterior, middle and posterior) 2- Extensor of the neck Trapezius muscle Splenius capitis 3- The infrahyoid muscles (strap muscles) Are a group of four pairs of muscles in the anterior (frontal) part of the neck. The four infrahyoid muscles are; the sternohyoid, sternothyroid, thyrohyoid and omohyoid muscles. The infrahyoid muscles either originate from or insert on to the hyoid bone The infrahyoid muscles function to depress the hyoid bone and larynx during swallowing and speech

9 Muscles of shoulder joint
The rotator cuff is a group of four muscles that surround the shoulder joint and contribute to the shoulder's stability. The muscles of the rotator cuff are  supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis,  and  teres minor. The cuff adheres to the glenohumeral capsule and attaches to the humeral head
