Students brought trash from home and campus to special bins placed in front of the HUB. It was then separated into different categories – paper, plastic, glass, metal – and returned to the original producers with the request that they would be reprocessed. It paved the way for UW to become a leader in recycling.

"If you see something that really needs to be done, go for it! The university is such a great platform for people who want to make a difference and the CSF is a great program to fund those activities. There are so many different exciting things that are going on because of CSF."
