Key features of the model
Six networks will support grades Pre K-8, with an additional network to work with high schools and an additional network for vocational-technical education
For each network, Assistant Superintendents of Networks provide input into evaluations of all network liaisons
The Assistant Superintendent of Networks evaluates the performance of school leaders
Each liaison is assigned to one or multiple networks based on need or availability of FTEs in the individual divisions
The specific liaison positions in each network may change as the model is refined
* Some liaisons will cover multiple networks

5. The Implementation Committee is working on four levers to drive culture change under the new model

Common expectations for liaisons:
Possess a “can do” attitude; proactively solve problems for schools
Use a school-oriented approach; spend substantial time in schools
Take a customer-service oriented approach; able to use feedback to improve service
Provide feedback from schools to inform district policy
Represent department at the school level
Collaborate with other Network liaisons and Assistant Superintendent of Networks
Build school leader and building capacity across functions
