2 Introduction Even if you do nothing, you will still leave behind a legacy. Will it be positive or negative? Will it be impactful or minimal? Will it be long lasting or short lived? Do not leave your legacy to chance!

3 Intentional Legacy Will it be purposeful or by chance?
Cannot wait until our last breath to do it Luke 1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. Mark 14:9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her. 6 Some Starters Mindset – living for others
1 Peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 2. Walk – setting the example 2 Thessalonians 3:9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. 3. Goal – encouraging the next generation Esther 9:28 And that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed. 7 Discussion Questions On a scale of 1-10, how important it is for you to leave a legacy? Whom do you want to leave your legacy to? List in order of importance. Share with your group why you want or do not want to leave a legacy. If time permits, let one person in your group tell of their parent’s legacy.
