5 Love wildlife and want to help protect it?
Age 5-15? Love wildlife and want to help protect it? Join the Conservation Action Team (CAT) based at Edinburgh Zoo!

6 CAT runs on the second Saturday of the month from September – June and is open to anyone in P2 - S4. Through this programme, children will discover not only RZSS animals but also the exciting native wildlife on site, from butterflies to badgers! CAT is about having fun whilst learning about, and acting for, local and global conservation in lots of different ways. Activities include making wildlife homes, bush craft, gardening, encounters, zoo trails, games and much more! Choose from one of the following timeslots Morning: 9.00 am am Lunchtime: pm pm Afternoon: 3.00 pm pm

7 As a CAT member you may also have the opportunity to achieve your John Muir Award, an environmental award scheme focused on wild places, encouraging people to connect with, enjoy and care for our natural environment. 13 The Dance Leaders Qualification will run during the Oct Break.
Are you interested in becoming a Level 1 Dance Leader and supporting a dance club? YDance are running a 1 Day Dance Taster Workshop on Thursday 22nd September for S3 –S6 Girls! 30 spaces available DANCE WORKSHOP The Dance Leaders Qualification will run during the Oct Break. 14 Netball Club The school’s Netball Club will start back next
Wednesday 7th September and Thursday 8th September. Changes this year have been made to the training schedule: S3/S4 will still be training on a Wednesday at 3:45 pm with Miss Blake in the Games Hall. S1/S2 will now be training on a Thursday at 3:45 pm with Miss Mollon in the Games Hall. New members are welcome and we look forward to seeing you all 

19 Lasswade WW1 Battlefields Trip
There will be a short meeting on Friday 2nd September at am for those pupils attending the Battlefield Trip. ALL pupils MUST attend in order to go through arrangements for Monday. BATTLEFIELDS 2016 MEETING Friday 2nd September am ROOM 216

21 France Water sports If you would like a space on the trip you must return permission slips and a non-refundable deposit of £65 by Monday 5th September to Mr McKay or Miss Hargreaves. Any issues with payment please speak to either of us.
