5 FOUNDATIONS CONCRETE BLOCKS
Concrete blocks grow brittle with age & crack. After Seattle’s 1985 quake, FEMA reported more than 50% failure rate for homes with blocks. Homes fell off the blocks, crushing gas, sewer, electrical and water lines. Blocks were driven through the flooring causing structural damage.
