Importing Enhancements
Ability to import applicants for the Recruitment module Associate Practitioner A new import type, Applicant Data Import, was added to Process > Utilities > Import >Applicants. This feature allows practitioners to import applicant data from an external source, such as a human resources system, into ADP Workforce Now. For more information, refer to the Importing Applicant Data guide and the online Help. You can now import the following types of applicant data into ADP Workforce Now: Requisition: Includes requisition information. Candidate: Includes personal, voluntary self-identification data (VSID), and contact information. Application: Includes additional information, application notes, files uploaded, questions, application status, source, and screening and selection services (SASS) settings data. The imported Applicant data is available on the Process > Talent > Applications page.

Select Process > Utilities > Import Preferences. You can specify a new name and description for the import preferences.

You can also send message or notifications to a designated user when the import finishes. The message will include the number of records added, the number of records updated, and the number of records skipped because of errors.

New Default Value of Current Year for Employee Option Group Import
Associates Practitioners In previous releases, the default value for importing employee option groups was both, which include current year and year end transactions. The majority of clients import current year so the default value was changed.

Changing Input Format of an assigned option entry will: Prompt for confirmation that existing employee option assignments will be cleared On confirmation, clear CY and YE employee option values Send appropriate transactions via PSI file Business Process The option entry format will have to be updated manually on the mainframe by a service representative. Ability to Print and Export Validation Tables
Starting Point: Setup > Tools > Validation Tables You can now print and export the following Validation Tables listed in alphabetical order: Benefits Eligibility Class Business Unit Cost Number Deductions Department Job Title (includes Job Competencies with weighting) Location Pay Grade Salary Structure Union Code Union Local Associates Practitioners Practitioners can export validation tables to .csv files for the following validation tables: Benefits Eligibility Class, Business Unit, Cost Number, Deductions, Departments, Job Title (includes Job Competencies with weighting), Location, Pay Grades, Salary Structures, Union Code, and Union Local. Note: Practitioners can import job descriptions (in the Job Title validation table) formatted in various fonts and sizes to expedite formatting during the Recruitment process. After you click the new Export link on the working list page of a validation table, the Download link is available when the file is ready to be saved. After you click Download and enter the file details, the export is complete. The file can then be updated as necessary and imported back into ADP Workforce Now as additional data for the selected validation table. For more information, refer to the Importing Validation Table Data guide.

Click the Export link A message appears indicating that the export process is in progress: When the export process is complete, click the Download link: Associate Practitioner IMPORTANT NOTE: The file is exported as a CSV file so if you open in Microsoft Excel, the leading zeros are dropped. Make sure that clients are aware of this very material point.

Job Title Validation Table Enhancements
Starting Point: Setup > Tools > Validation Tables > Job Title Allows text formatting in the Job Description field that is carried over to the job descriptions found in the Recruitment module Associate Practitioner The Job Title validation table now allows text formatting in the Job Description field. The font styles, sizes, and other formatting that you use in the Job Description field will carry over to the job descriptions in the Recruitment module.

Show and Hide Terminated Benefit Plans
Starting Point: Setup > Benefits > Plan Setup Associates Practitioners On the Plan Setup page, users can choose to see only active plans in the plan list. Users can click Hide Terminated to hide terminated plans, or click Show Terminated to display all plans in the list. Default behavior is to hide the terminated plans.

Edit Benefit Plan Coverage
Starting Point: Setup > Benefits > Plan Setup > Coverage Dependency You can add, edit, and remove coverage dependencies Associates Practitioners Practitioners can now edit benefit coverage dependencies for plans that have existing benefit enrollments. For example: Up To contingencies: You can change the benefit plan, the option, or the percentage amount. You can also add a new coverage contingency or delete an Up To contingency even if it includes enrollments. Exact Match contingencies: You can change the plan or the percentage amount, or add a new coverage contingency on a plan that includes enrollments. However, you cannot change an Exact Match contingency to an Up To contingency, or delete an Exact Match contingency if it includes enrollments. In either case, the existing premium amounts will be updated. Once a change is made to a benefit coverage dependency, a downloadable list of all employees that are no longer eligible for the newly added or changed coverage dependency is generated automatically. The practitioner can then contact these employees to determine how to adjust their benefit selections.

Modify the Label Used for Custom Benefit Plan Types
Starting Point: Setup > Benefits > Benefit Settings > General Settings Associates Practitioners The plan type label Custom can now be changed to a label that is more meaningful to the you. You can change the label on the Setup > Benefits Settings > General Settings page. Once the change is made, it will be applied everywhere that Custom was previously displayed.

Display an Enrollment Splash Page
Starting Point: Setup > Benefits > Benefit Settings > Employee Content Rights Associates Practitioners When you select this option in the Benefits Settings page on the Employee Content Rights tab, the splash page is displayed automatically when employees log in and an Open Enrollment, New Hire or Work Event enrollment is available to them. Employees can select Start This Enrollment to begin their benefit enrollment immediately, Remind Me Later to be prompted to enroll the next time they log in, or Don’t Show This Again to end any further enrollment prompting.

Starting Point: Setup > Benefits > Enrollment Profiles > Enrollment Note Associate Practitioner The Enrollment Splash page can incorporate text customized for the client’s company, tables, links, emoticons, and images. You can spell check and format your content using the tools available in the note editor.

Employee Enrollment Splash Page
Managers will also see the change. Managers Employees When an employee logs in to Workforce Now, and if the employee is newly hired, has a work event profile type or Open Enrollment profile type available, the Enrollment Splash page is displayed. The number of days remaining in the enrollment period is displayed automatically. This page informs employees of the available enrollments, and allows then to click on the Start This Enrollment button to view all of the plans available for enrollment. Employees can enroll immediately or wait to enroll.

New Effective Dating Time Line
A new effective dating timeline was added to the left panel of all the new edit pages for the Employment Profile tiles that contain information that can be effective dated. Example time line for Position Displays reference points for today, the current period ending date, and any future or historical records that are current for the pay cycle. If applicable, you can click See More to see future or current records that are applicable for the current pay cycle. Clicking the reference point displays the appropriate record in the right panel, where you can change the information as needed.

Elf Feed Sunset Electronic Ledger Feed (ELF) from eOrder to Ledger via is being sunset. Today the information in the order is validated and the transactions are generate from the ELF. The required order information will now be passed to which will apply the configuration and business rules, generate the transactions submit them to Paytech.
