Wales Cardiac Network NHS Wales Health Collaborative Public Health Wales This presentation displays a summary of diagnostic waiting times across the NHS in Wales. The data presented measures the waiting times of patients for key diagnostic tests on 22nd September A request for information was made to all Health Board Informatics, Management and Clinical Teams and this presentation is a representation of the data received unfortunately some health boards appear to have found this a difficult process. This presentation is split into 8 weeks, 16 weeks, 26 weeks and above 26 weeks. (Click)

3 Diagnostics Monitoring Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor Ambulatory Echocardiogram Monitor Cardiac Event Monitoring Implanted Loop Recorder Echocardiography Cardiology Eachocardiography Contrast Cardiology Echocardiography Contrast Echocardiography DYSS Trans Thoracic Echo Valve Trans Thoracic Echo Complex Echocardiography TOE Echocardiogram Cardiology Stress Echocardiography Angiography CT Angiography Angiogram Testing Exercise Tolerance Test The data to follow covers 14 diagnostic areas which have been group into 6 main categories, Monitoring , Echocardiography, Complex Echocardiography, Angiography, Angiogram and Testing. These will be reported to as a whole in that under monitoring the 4 diagnostic tests will reported as one, however, if you require individual data this can be supplied. Mid way though the reporting period angiography moved from a stage 4 pathway day-case procedure back into the diagnostic stage 2 which may skew some health board figures. (Click)

Looking at the 8 weeks as an example Hywel Dda were the best achieving Health Board at 97.3%, and conversely Powys achieved 46.7% (Click) Data supplied by Health Board Informatics Teams
