Schemes which now come under the remit of the DWD are identified in 26 Local Authorities
Sampling from 53% of Schemes comply with DWD while 55% of 91,776 domestic connections on 727 schemes are compliant
Only 45% of schemes with Private sources are compliant
Of 91,776 domestic connections on GWS nationwide
38% of treatment solutions are complete
45% of treatment solutions are underway
17% are still in planning
DBO solutions are much further advanced than other solutions with 93% of scheme solutions complete or underway
Only 27% of solutions involving connection to public mains are complete or underway
