2. The Norwegian Safety Forum (NSF)
is designed to provide information on all aspects of injuries and safety, and to promote co-operation between business, public sector and non-governmental organisations.
It is a well established meeting place, with 80 membership organisations, stakeholders with a wide range of experience in the field of injury prevention and safety promotion. 
The forum, established in 1985, is supported by The Ministry of Health and the Finance Norway (where all the major insurance companies are stakeholders).

4. Council for child safety
The Child Safety Council consists of specialists on child safety and prevention, representing research, health sector, safe communities, traffic and product safety organisations

5. European Child Safety Alliance (ECSA)
NSF member of ECSA since 1999
NSF participate in various European child safety projects:
Water safety
Child safety good practice
Child safety report card 2012, mapping of situation of child safety in 31 countries in Europe

6. Fatalities in Norway of accidental injuries in children 0-17 years 1951-2011

7. Various types of preventive measures
Attitude changing measures: information brochures, films, councelling schemes
Behaviour changing measures: rewards, training
Structural changing measures: changes of environments and products legislation and enforcement
”Orchestration ”: when measures from two or all three types above are used simultaneously, e.g. in Safe Communities

8. NSF might in future work on
Prevention of child drownings
Safety for children in cars
Prevention of burns and scalds
Safety for bicyclists
Improvement of national leadership and coordination of child safety activities in Norway
