After logging in go to “Lodge Reports”

Select “Member Contact Info Report”

Here you want to make sure you have checked “Show Address Fields” & “Show PFE Columns” the other default values are sufficient, then click “Get CSV File”

Depending on how many members your Lodge has, this may take from a couple of seconds to a minute or two.

Once complete, you will see the “Click here to download CSV file” link displayed, click it to continue

Once the CSV is created and downloaded you will see it displayed in the bottom left corner (if using Windows 7), if using a previous version of Windows you will be asked where to save the file, by default the file will be saved in the “Downloads” folder no matter what version of Windows you are using. Make sure you remember the file name and where it is saved.

Next you should start your Word program
(this tutorial was made using Word 2007, if you are using a different version of Word, the process will be very similar, but some screen shots may not reflect an accurate view of what you may see when you create yours). To start, click on “Mailings” then “Start mail merge”

Next select “labels” then select your label type, we are going to use Avery 5160 easy peal and stick labels, once selected click “OK”

Next you must choose your source (the CSV file you just downloaded) that will provide the names and addresses for the Labels. So click on “Select Recipients” and then “Use Existing List”. Now you will have to navigate to your “Downloads” folder to find and select the CSV file you downloaded.

Next you will have to navigate to your “Downloads” folder to find and select the CSV file you downloaded. Now click “Open” once back at the merge document you should select “Address Block” which will let you choose the address format.

Make sure your address format looks right then click “OK”
Make sure your address format looks right then click “OK”. Now click on “Update Labels”, then “Preview Results” to see the results before printing.

All that’s left is to load the Avery 5160 mailing Labels into your printer and print. I know this seems like a long complicated process, but once you’ve done it a time or two, it will become second nature.
