2 2 To begin you need to start Open Office Writer 2 3 4 1 1. Click on “Start” 2. Select “Programs” 3. Select “OpenOffice.org 2.0” 4. Click on “OpenOffice.org Writer”

3 3 To work with labels you need to: 1. Click on “File” 2. Select “New” 3. Click on “Labels”

4 4 First, you will need to select the label type you want to work with. -Avery 5160 is a standard address label -Avery 5163 is a standard shipping label -Avery 5167 is a standard return address label There are many others to choose from as well. After your label size is selected then type in the text you want.

5 5 First, click on the “Options” tab. Next, select whether you want an entire page of the same label, or a single label. If you select the single label option you need to tell the program where you want that label printed. *This is useful when you have used other labels from a page. After your selections are finished, click on “New Document”.

6 6 Your label(s) will show up on this New Document. The last step is to print your label(s). 1. Click on “File” 2. Click on “Print” *Don’t forget to load the labels in the printer. Congratulations! Your are done making labels.
