Course Guidelines
1. Have a 3-ring binder that is reserved for French work exclusively.
2. Have your textbook, __________________ covered by __________
3. Bring textbook, notebook, & writing utensil to class everyday.
Please sharpen pencils before the bell rings so that you will be ready to begin on time.
4. Arrive to class on time. Be seated and ready to begin when the bell rings.
5. Do not eat or chew gum in class. It interferes with your ability to speak French.
6. Do not ask to be excused from class except for an emergency.
7. Homework will be checked. It must be written in your French notebook.
You will receive credit for homework which is on time. No credit will be given for
late homework. You may not return to your locker to retrieve your homework.
8. Make-ups: If you are present when an evaluation is announced, you will be expected
to complete the evaluation on the designated day. If you are absent when an eval is
announced, you may have an extra day to complete it. If you are present when an eval
is announced and you are absent on the designated day, you will be expected to complete
the eval immediately upon your return to school. (If you miss class due to any school
related activity, you are responsible for obtaining all work. You must be prepared with all
work immediately upon your return to class.)
