6 SWOT Analysis The following are the Weaknesses and Threats being faced in achieving the targets :- Non-availability of ICSI publication in Hindi language effects registration from Hindi medium schools/colleges. Schools/Colleges are looking for the benefit to them for allowing CAP. Non sharing of students data base by the schools/Institutions for following up with students. Inadequate publicity of CS Course through print media at local level. Limited trained Manpower/ Non Availability of Manpower in few Chapters.

7 SWOT Analysis In few Chapters despite being educational hub, students are more interested for Science stream like Medical/Engineering. In few Chapters there are lack of industries which can provide the job/ training opportunities. Also there are least chances to setup own practice. Students of Government Schools/ Rural Area are not willing or having access to pay through online / Challan mode thereby not comfortable with online process. Less effective Placement drives. Lack of Infrastructure at Chapters.

8 SWOT Analysis Financial crisis at Chapters. Dual reporting pattern.

9 STRATEGY at RO/Chapter Level
The following steps may be adopted: Contact School/College Principal or Commerce Teachers/Professors. Analyze the most favorable months to organize CAP for example April, July, August, October, November in Delhi/NCR. Contact Schools/Colleges where ICSI has Examination Centres/ Study Centres/ MOU for Signature Award/ CS Olympiad for organizing CAP’s. Monthly Review Meeting for Career Awareness Programmes to be conducted.

10 STRATEGY at RO/Chapter Level
Extend invitation to Council Members, Regional Council Members and Senior Members of the profession for addressing career awareness programmes as CS Ambassadors. Organize Program for School Teachers/ College Professors. Invite college professors as faculty in oral tuition classes and various students training programmes. Involve students & faculties of OT classes for fixation of CAP in their respective school/ colleges. Organize/ participate in educational event for students, parents and guardians. Co-ordinate with schools for fixing canopy during Parents Teacher Meeting (PTM)

11 STRATEGY at RO/Chapter Level
Organize special classes for Commerce students of 12th standard before board exams and create awareness about the course and oral coaching. Distribution of pamphlets at Examination centers during 12th Boards & at colleges during registration. Continuous follow-up with Universities for signing of ICSI Signature Award Continuous follow-up for opening of Study Centres Maintain database of visitors and follow up with them.

12 PROPOSED STRATEGY at HQ’s Level
The following steps may be adopted: Arrange display of ICSI study modules/publications at Library of School/Colleges/Business Schools etc.. Publish Bi-monthly Magazine having interview of members occupying Senior positions/MD/CEO of that organization & the same to be distributed at CAP/Fairs. Participate in events like Elocution Competition, Spelling Competition, Debate, Fest, Sports tournament of School/Colleges/Business Schools etc. Advertise through scrolls on different genre of TV channels like youth channel, news channels or advertising in particular cinema hall.

13 PROPOSED STRATEGY at HQ’s Level
Advertise through hoardings at Airports/ Bus stops /Metro stations Advertise at Local Radio/Local TV Channels/ Local Newspapers. Joint programs may be organized with Chambers of Commerce/other Institutes and distribute good quality Souvenir with Logo of ICSI. Reconsider offline/ postal registration, eligibility test and distribution of study material. Reconsider distribution of Kits to teachers/Principal with ICSI Logo. Explore the possibility of on the spot registration during Career Fairs.

14 PROPOSED STRATEGY at HQ’s Level
Concerned Officials may be given Adequate training in respective fields. Tie-up with other Professional Institutes for mutual exemptions in Foundation Level. Provide good quality carry bags/ leather bags to officials having ICSI logo. Counsellors may be appointed in the Chapters where there is no In-charge/Manpower.

15 STRATEGY FOR COUNSELLORS
Formulate Counsellor Feedback format. Fix the responsibility of Counsellors for registering at least 4 Companies in a year. Fix the responsibility of Counsellors for registering at least 10 Students per quarter in CS Course. Counsellor should conduct at least 20 Career Awareness Programmes and utmost 50 Career Awareness Programmes in a year. Visit during the programme as a guest or observer in the middle of the programme to ensure the compliance of the system.

16 STRATEGY FOR COUNSELLORS
Do a verification call to the Institution concerned on Career Awareness Programme conducted by the ICSI Counsellors before and after the Career Awareness Programme. Conduct a midyear review of the performance of ICSI Counsellors and take corrective measures for conducting the minimum number of Career Awareness Programmes. Review the performance of the concerned ICSI Counsellors every year for renewal of the appointment. Don’t appoint elected members as ICSI Counsellor.

17 Micro Controls The following steps may be adopted:
Self division of targets on monthly basis & putting efforts for its accomplishment. Monthly MIS w.r.t. CAP’s in Schools/Colleges Steps taken for ICSI Signature Award Steps taken for ICSI Study Centre Appointment of Counsellor Performance of Counsellors including number of Students Registered and Companies approached for providing training. Feedback from Schools/ Colleges where CAP being organized by Counsellors.
