14 Business Model Jack henry banking primarily serves commercial banks and savings institutions with up to $30 billion in assets. According to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation , there were more than 6,100 commercial banks and savings institutions in this asset range as of December 31, Jack Henry Banking currently supports over 1,100 of these banks with its core information processing platforms and complementary products and services.   Symitar serves credit unions of all asset sizes.
