3. INVOLVING ADMINISTRATION
Have the principal attend the lunch hour
Rotate between tables, talking with children at each table
Encourage other members of administration to also sit around the tables with children
As part of art class, have children create flowers out of construction paper
Flowers will be placed in watering cans on lunch tables

4. THEME DAY MENU
Turkey club (with roast beef and bacon) on a WG bun with sandwich trimmings
Meatball sub on a WG bun with provolone cheese
Hummus and veggie sub on WG bun
Berry and yogurt fruit parfait (1/2 cup)
Apple slices (1 apple’s worth)
Three bean salad (1/2 cup)
Roasted broccoli salad (1/2 cup)
French baguette

5. DECORATIONS
Paper flowers in watering cans (brought in by teachers and staff)
