1 Should We Have Doubts As To Whether We Will Make It To Heaven Or Not?
Blessed Assurance Should We Have Doubts As To Whether We Will Make It To Heaven Or Not?

2 Deut. 28:66-67 Moses Describes A People Whose Lives Would Hang In Doubt. This Was One of The Curses of the Law. Doubt Is The Devil’s Tool He Wants Us To Doubt God’s Existence. He Wants Us To Doubt The World’s Creation. He Wants Us To Doubt Our Eternal Life.

3 Doubt Hinders Faith “But let him ask in faith without any doubting , for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” -- James 1:6-8

4 Doubt Hinders Faith “And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt ?’” -- Matt 14:31

7 3 Views Of Eternal Life The Possibility of Apostasy, But The Assurance of Hope. This Belief Knows That Falling Away Is Possible. However, It Also Knows That If One Is Faithful To God, He Can Be Confidently Assured of Eternal Life. 1 Cor. 9:26-27 vs. 2 Tim. 4:7-8,18

8 Which Employee Would You Like To Have?
The One Who Believes He Will Never Get Fired? The One Who Is Always Afraid of Getting Fired? The One Who Knows If He Slacks Off He Can Get Fired, But Is Confident That If He Does His Job Well He Will Keep His Job?

9 Blessed Assurance Heb. 3:5-14
Vs. 6 - We Are God’s Household If We Hold Fast To Our Confidence In What We Hope Until The End. Vs We Are Partakers of the Things of Christ, If We Hold Fast The Assurance We Had From The Beginning… Until The End. When Should We Not Have Confidence? Vss. 8,10, 12-13

10 How? Heb. 6:11-19 We Can Have Assurance Because God Always Keeps His Promise. God Has Given Us Everything We Need To Have Confident Faith. Our Hope In Heaven Is Like An Anchor, Sure and Steadfast.

11 Why? We Don’t Doubt That There Is A Heaven, Nor God’s Willingness For Us To Live With Him There. Our Doubt Comes From Our Own Insecurity. Have We Done Enough? Do We Really Deserve It? We Are Often Like Abraham.

12 God Said It… That Makes It So.
Baptism… How Do I Know? God Said It… That Makes It So.
