2 Progress ! Met Council has officially taken over delivery of the GOLD Line Red Rock Corridor increase in bus service to Newport Transit Station New service to Minneapolis Rush Line Alternative Analysis complete – line ends in Ramsey County Transit Needs Study will be complete in 2017

3 Changes in Transit and Transportation Funding
Counties Transit Improvement Board (CTIB) dissolved County received in Guaranteed Funds and negotiated dissolution funds - $13.8M Beginning October 1, 2017, Transportation Sales Tax revenue will go to Washington County Estimated at $7.5M per year

4 Principles for Using Revenue
Utilize most restrictive funding sources first Interest earned should stay with the original fund (CTIB guarantee, CTIB cash distribution or County sales tax revenue). Cash flow Gold Line so no bonding needed until Federal Full Funding Grant Agreement received To manage financial risk to County: Minimize commitments to other efforts until Gold Line Project Development is complete Actual experience with 993 revenue known
