Advice for success On teachers:
At MBSH, we have some of the best teachers in the county. Not only are our teachers very qualified and have great experience, but they also care about their students, which makes learning very easy. If you ever have a problem, feel free to reach out to one of your teachers!

On friends: High school can be a great time to branch out and make new friends. Not only will you meet kids from other schools, but you also will meet students from other grades levels as well! Make sure to build friendships with as many people as you can, regardless of age! Friends can act as a safety net in a time of need, or they may just be useful for group assignments! These may be some of your closest friends in life!

On social media: Social media can act as a useful tool to stay connected with friends and keep Informed with school policies. Follow @MBseniorHigh on Instagram to keep updated with school activities Be careful with what you post online, it can get you in A LOT of trouble! Use social media in a positive way! Miami Beach Sr. High has a zero tolerance policy on Cyber bullying, or bullying of any kind!

On Classes: Make sure you choose classes that are appropriate for YOU! If you believe you can manage AP classes, take them! They can be great GPA boasters! However, if you don’t do well in these classes, they will DEFLATE your GPA, so take classes that are best suited for you! If you think you will be unable to do well in your classes, speak to your guidance counselor ASAP!
