Welcome Parents, Guardians, and Friends to the TCNJ EOF Family We are here to assist you in supporting your students to reach their goals of obtaining higher education! Most importance, at some point your student will turn to you for advice and guidance and we want you to be ready. Today, we will familiarize you with EOF, college terminology, TCNJ resources, and how to parent a Lion. Before we get started, I would like for each one of you to raise your right hand, reach over your left shoulder, and pat your self on the back. Being here today is a celebration. At the end of this presentation, we ask that you take a few moments to complete the survey. There are also 2 Special Note Cards. Please write your student a special note. 14 Health Requirements Deadline Due Date: June 9, 2017
If not submitted and cleared, you are pass due and ineligible to move into the residence hall on July 8th. Check your TCNJ for messages from Health Services for missing documents. See Online Wellness Link (OWL) to upload missing documents, by no later than June 28th end of day. Students who are not cleared by noon June 29th will not be permitted to move in and will be contacted by the EOF Office. An Authorized User is an individual who has been granted permission to view and discuss a student’s billing, financial aid, and/or education records. TCNJ students are eligible to grant this access to up to three individuals with whom they wish to share their account details. Once enrolled as Authorized Users, these individuals are granted auxiliary access to the College’s information system (PAWS), where they can log in to complete the following tasks: View financial aid View the student To-Do list View and pay the bill View education records Authorized Users are also eligible to discuss pertinent account details with TCNJ officials, who would otherwise only be able to discuss this information directly with the student. Students can sign up an Authorized User by following the instructions found

15 TCNJ Student Health Insurance Option Student Injury & Sickness Insurance Plan (SISIP)
If you are already covered by your parents, you can waive the College Insurance by providing evidence of health insurance coverage to the insurance company by the waiver deadlines established by the College. Not waived, the total cost will be billed to your account and covered by TCNJ for 2017/18 Academic Year. Questions about the Waiver and Enrollment Process can be directed to Student Accounts at or by at Questions about plan coverage can be directed to United Healthcare Customer Service at Note: If you are enrolled in a State Insurance Plan and you will be turning 18, ex. NJ Care, you will no longer be eligible under your parent. The student will need to apply on their own and may experience a gap in coverage. Cost of insurance $ Each family should carefully consider coverage options which will provide optimum health coverage for your student.

All Students must make arrangements and depart campus by 5:30 pm on Friday, July 21st and July 28th Complimentary shuttle to and from Trenton Transit will be available. Signups will be posted at the New Residence Hall desk by Thursday afternoon.

Laundry is FREE, please respect the community space and keep it tidy NO TOLERANCE for weapons, threats, bullying, harassment, horseplay, and hate crimes.

28 TIMELINESS You are expected to be at your destination, ready to participate at the scheduled time. Lateness will result in an early curfew. Monday-Friday out for breakfast by 7:30 AM (if you’re late signing out, you will have early curfew) Curfew (in your OWN room) Sunday – Thursday 11 pm Friday & Saturday 12 am (If you’re late signing in, you will have early curfew the following day)

Login to My Housing using your TCNJ username and password Click on “access your application” Select “Summer Session 3 – 2017” and click “Save & Continue” Click on “Application Status” in the top right The room assignment will be in the middle of the page under “Room Reservation Details.” Roommates will be listed at the bottom of the page under “Occupancy Information.” Clicking on “View Profile” next to your roommates name will list the student’s TCNJ address.
