Maintenance Mechanic/Ranger Field Qualifications: BBEDC CDQ community resident Must be 18 years old or older Willing to learn about refuge natural resources, operations and facilities, including navigation of the Togiak River Ability to read written instructions and assist in the completion of reports Ability to use basic maintenance/mechanic hand tools Must complete all required Refuge training pertaining to duties Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Duties: Assist village RIT program as needed by providing maintenance support for operations Assist village RIT program with patrols by boat within their area of responsibility Assist village RIT program with preventative and corrective maintenance of buildings and equipment in the villages of Togiak, Goodnews and Quinhagak Paint interior and exterior of refuge buildings Maintenance and repair of small boats, outboard motors, lawn mowers and motor vehicles Grounds maintenance including grading with hand tools , lawn mowing and edging Repair and maintain refuge buildings using carpentry and handyman skills Assist maintenance team at Cape Peirce Fly in small aircraft Other duties as assigned Photo Credit: Hetul Kothari, India Welcome to Super Easy Templates: This is an 8 x 11 poster (or flyer).
