To inform you about documents are owned by the library
You can search for the
- title
- author
- subject
- year of publishing
- name of publisher, etc.

3. STEPS of SEARCHING: 1/ What do you need exactly?
2/ Which is the suitable catalogue?
3/ If you get a lot of hits, narrow your question. Use filter or ask another question.
4/ If you get few hits, widen your question or clear filters.
5/ If you don’t get any hits at all, don’t believe it. Try searching in other ways.

4. WHAT IS… Filter  You can limit the number of hits with it.
Usually it limits the language or type of
documents or the period of publishing.
Operator  It combines two or more conditions by logical
connection:
OR: result will be suitable for one condition
AND: result will be suitable for all
conditions
NOT: result will rule out the condition
